Jett Garrison (he/they) is a Transgender *WGA writer and director currently staffed as a writer on the CW Network's reboot of THE 4400. Jett's known for directing the award-winning digital series THESE THEMS, winning the Best Director Award from Chicago's PRIDE FILMS Festival. He's won an EMMY and been nominated for an OSCAR for his short film work. Jett's feature script QUICK QUICK SLOW was a finalist in OUTFEST’s Screenwriting lab and his half-hour pilot 

MAX, AGAIN is an autobiographical take on his own journey going through a second puberty later in life.

Jett started his filmmaking career in Austin, Texas where his first feature documentary premiered at SXSW.  As a fellow in Film Independent’s PROJECT:INVOLVE directing program, Jett’s work was sponsored by “NBC/Universal” and featured in “Vanity Fair”. Jett was also a fellow in SONY’s Diverse Directors Program and was invited to participate in Ryan Murphy’s HALF Initiative Directing Program.

Coming of age in Austin, Texas in the early 90s, Jett lived most of his early adulthood as a masculine of center Lesbian until coming out as Transgender. As a Transgender storyteller, Jett explores themes of queerness, chosen family and marginalized communities.
